Translation
Our submarines in the Autumn storm In spite of severe autumn storms, 111 ships with 720 575 BRT were sunk in October. This equals a carrier weight of 864690 tonnes, or 86496 freight cars with a length of about 520 kilometres. German submarines penetrated the St. Lawrence River several times and defeated the enemy in his own territory. The sea is burning! A tanker loaded with fuel was tracked down by our submarines and destroyed. Our submarines are constantly fighting against the enemy and the unruly weather. Even icy regions in the Far North cannot withstand their fighting spirit. In spite of winter storms and severe coldness the spirit of the German submarines defeats the enemy. Bullseye! The steamboat was ripped in two by a torpedo blast. Victorious in all seas!
