Con Peron todo, todos con Peron-Peron

Poster
c. 1970s (made)
Artist/Maker
Place of origin

This political poster bears the slogan "With Peron, everything - All behind Peron." The message is clear: by backing Juan Domingo Peron (8 October 1895 – 1 July 1974), Argentineans have much to gain. He held office from 1946 to 1955 when he was overthrown by a military coup, and again from 1973 until his death in 1974. Peron was an idiosyncratic right-wing leader who supported, for example, unions for the working class as well as legalised prostitution.
