Silk embroidery on linen, 1100-1200
Physical description
Silk embroidery, split stitch, on linen in lemon, blue, terracotta red and brown. Motifs include row of trees, peacocks, lion and king and queen figures. Arabic writing within a roundel. Some old repairs.
