Pastille burner with cover, of ovoid shape, on a single pedestal terminating in three claw feet, which stand on a shaped plinth moulded with swags and pendants. The body has applied sprays of flowers and leaves. The finial is composed of moulded flowers. The applied flowers are painted in naturalistic enamel colours, with the background ornamented with painted butterflies in enamel colours and gilt motifs. The claw feet and plinths picked out in turquoise enamel and gilt.
