Kevin O'Dwyer is a full-time practising silversmith with an international reputation. The wavy handle of this jug is a characteristic feature of much of his work. It is formed from a flat sheet of silver, tapered and forged. O'Dwyer achieved the pattern on the body by passing a sheet of silver, sandwiched between two etched steel plates, through a high-pressure rolling mill.
